Three days vacation in the province

One thing that I so missed to do lately is to travel.  It is my way of unwinding and enjoying my life while still single.  Gone are the days when I used to travel in some areas of the country (Philippines).  But I am hoping to go travel soon if given a chance.  It was an answered prayer I must say because two weeks ago, I was invited by my sister to go with them in the province of her in-laws.  I am so happy because I need to go somewhere outside the busy city to unwind and feel the beauty of nature.  And the province that we are going is a nice place.  I could relax more and have my time.  I need some time to be by myself and worrying nothing but myself only.

The three days short vacation was fun even if it is raining.  I can say fun because I like listening to the sound of the rain, it is so relaxing to me.  And because the province is celebrating the annual fiesta, there are activities in the park, church, street and covered court.  Though I was not able to see all the activities because of the bad weather, I am still happy because I get to experience the fiesta celebration in their province and of course the sumptuous foods.  It was a nice experience after all.  I am relaxed and unwind and ready to go back to the busy city.  Thank God for the opportunity.

Home sweet home

After nine (9) days of vacation in the province of my parents now I am back.  I am missing home.  I missed everyone at home especially my bed, my room, my pillows, everything.  Every time I am away these are the things that I so missed, especially my bed.  At the province I sleep on the floor.  When I lay down, I think of my queen size bed back home.LOL  I am not complaining, I am just saying.haha!  I am glad now that I am home.  When I arrived, I took a lot of sleep because I was not able to sleep well at the bus and at the vessel.

The was so tiring but worth it because I am able to rest well away from the busy city.  I am able to be with nature more.  Indeed life at the province is simple but fun.  And there is peace and quiet.  I did go to beach, which I like the most.  I did not mind the hot weather and heat of the sun because I am having fun swimming.  I am enjoying the white sand beach at the province.  The vacation is over.  I am back to the city life.  And happy to be back home.  My home sweet home.  Hoping to be back again at the province with the family.

The province traditional way

At the moment, I am at the province of my parents.  In two days they will celebrate their fiesta.  There a re lots of activity at the covered court, barangay hall and at the church/chapel.  At the chapel, I seen the traditional way of offering prayers to the patron saint.  The song of praise they are singing and the musical instrument they are using.  I give more focus on the man playing the trumpet.  He really plays well at his age.  One of the musical instruments are the same as I seen at woodwinds brasswind.  It gives good sounds and I am pretty sure it is of good quality.

The kids are having fun

Okay, we are on vacation at the province of m parents.  The tiring travel was so worth it because we arrived safely and the kids (my nephews) are having fun meeting their cousins and meeting new friends here.  It is not their first time to travel here but it is their first time meeting them.  They played a lot and do bonding a lot.  The are having fun I must say.  In fact the 5 years old nephew does not want to go back home anymore. LOL!  They already went to the white sand beach here and the do want want to get out of the water too.  Funny thing is that the 5 years old nephew says, the beach is like a swimming pool.  Maybe because it is white sand and the color of the water is blue.

Their summer is spending really well.  We have four more days left here in the province.  We plan to go to the beach more after our agenda of going here is settled.  I haven’t been to the beach yet.  We visited some of our relatives already and it is really nice seeing them again after four years.  We are having fun here and I am well rested I must say but honestly I missed my sister, my nieces, and my 3 years old charming nephew.  Four more days and we are home again.  May God bless our trip back home.
